This recipe by Realistically Raw You is designed to enjoy the festive time and get you in the Christmas Spirit. Which of course can be enjoyed all year round :)
3 tbsp coconut flakes
1 cup soaked & dehydrated almonds
1 tbs cacao powder
8-10 pitted Medjool dates
2 tbs peanut butter (or almond butter)
1-2 tbs coconut flower nectar
What to do:
Place the coconut flakes in your Cuisinart food processor or your Optimum Blender and pulse to form rice-sized piece, pour into a bowl and set aside. This will be used for rolling your Bliss Balls once complete.
Place the almonds in your Cuisinart food processor or Optimum Blender blender and pulse to form a coarse meal.
Add cacao, dates, peanut butter and coconut nectar and pulse/process until well combined. NOTE: Do NOT over-blend, you want the ingredients to come together but not to be a smooth paste.
Use a tablespoon to roll the mixture into the perfect mouth-sized balls.
For best results store in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within one week, if you can wait that long!
